The front wheels must be chocked securely by placing the chock in the center and square to tyre, and then put the vehicle in fifth gear while the ignition is turned on. If your headlights are as bright as it usually is, the problem is something else.
Even with a low battery level, you will get some light from your dashboard and a faint sound from the car stereo. Listen to the sound of your car. If your engine gives off a cranking sound, there is nothing wrong with the battery. If your car does not give off any sound, you better start jumpstarting your car.

Restoring A Car Battery After A Deep Discharge
The battery does not produce electrical energy, but stores it, converted into chemical energy. The voltage is the potential difference between the two terminals of the cell. It should be equal to 2.1 V when fully charged. During charging, positive particles collect at the anode, absorbing electrical energy.
