Once the NOC for vehicle transfer to other states is obtained, you need to submit its original copy to the original RTO for police verification. Once you get the NOC after verification, you can get the car registered in the new state. It may be noted here that obtaining the NOC can take up to five weeks, while the documentation process in the new state might take up to six months.
