The weight of the object will push carpet down fully into the glue, hopefully insuring the loop won’t pull up again. It will also make the carpet look good as new and you will be able to vacuum over the area once dried.

- For burn holes that have not totally penetrated the leather, cut out the burn by making cutting a cross in the burnt part. Cut the burnt part using a scalpel or a razor blade. But if it the burn has penetrated the leather, and then cut the part all the way through.
- Repair the hole by inserting a fabric of the same color or at least close to the color of the leather. Insert the cloth and make sure to leave at least ½ inch overlap on all edges of the hole.
