The team at Every Day Show Car advise car owners to first try using a microfiber towel and some commercial or homemade dashboard cleaner to remove unsightly scuffs. If this doesn’t work, they recommend using Magic Eraser pads.
Add some water to the pad to dampen it, but don’t make it soaking wet. Then, rub the Magic Eraser over the scuff marks until they disappear wipe dry with a microfiber cloth. You can apply a spray wax when you’re finished, but it’s optional. You may want to keep a box of Magic Erasers in your car to have on hand when you need them.
As a side note, Magic Erasers are also good for removing scuff marks from the walls in your home. Moreover, many people use them to clean fiberglass shower floors, leather couches and jewelry. Just be sure to throw the pads out once they become dirty.
