Since I was so early, I brought a book to the high tier player lounge to wait for the first drawing at 5:00 p.m. Around 4:35 p.m. or so, I went out and plugged my rewards card into one of the main floor slot machines as required to be able to have my name drawn.
At the 5:00 p.m. drawing, I realized that I couldnt hear announcements in the lounge. When I went out onto the main floor, I saw the names of the two people that had already been drawn.
With a bit of wandering around, I eventually found the location of the drawing itself just as they were wrapping up the paperwork for whatever those two people had won. Each had won a small non-taxable amount of cash, but not the car itself.
Apparently, unbeknownst to me despite my attempt at research, there was a secondary drawing of some sort after the initial names were announced. No one had won the car, just cash prizes between $500 and $1,500.
On my way back to the lounge for more book reading, I made sure to plug my rewards card into another slot machine so that I was eligible for the next drawing at 5:30 p.m.
Thinking about the situation in the high tier lounge, while making little progress reading a book, around 5:25 p.m. or so I decided that I needed to leave the lounge and head on over to the drawing location before the actual drawing of names. What was actually happening? What might I learn by watching the actual process?
Unattended Kids At Casinos
Similar incidents have taken place nationwide over the past year. Last month, a 10-year-old boy was left alone in a running car outside of Oklahomas Newcastle Casino.
The mother was arrested after the car was stolen. So, too, was the man who allegedly took the car with the boy inside. The child was later found safe.
A man identified as Seth Grant, 36, was arrested for carjacking by the Canadian County Sheriffs deputies, according to KFOR, a local TV station. The mother was not immediately identified.
In April, a Florida physician faced two charges of neglect after leaving two children unattended in her car. Dr. Marieny Elena Guimera-Revelo allegedly left them in the car while she played poker at Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
Prosecutors claim she was at a poker table in the casino for at least 12 minutes. The children were 3 and 11-years-old at the time.
In July, a baby was found alone in a car parked at Bighorn Casino in North Las Vegas on a hots summers evening. A man was later arrested. Police said he was gambling in the venue and appeared intoxicated. Mitchell Anthony Hooks, 39, of Las Vegas, was charged with child abuse and leaving a child unattended in a motor vehicle.

Dangerous Substances Drugs Found
Deputies questioned the woman. They saw a syringe in her possession, according to a report from the sheriffs office. It contained a brown residue that deputies suspect is narcotics, the report said.
The syringe was stored in a cigarette pack belonging to Britt. She handed it over to deputies.
Britt was charged with child desertion, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, the deputies said.
She was held in the parish jail this past weekend. Her case was turned over to a local court for prosecution. The child appeared to be unharmed.

A sad, but common theme at Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board monthly meetings is people landing on the Involuntary Exclusion List for leaving kids alone in a car while they gamble in a PA casino.
Two more people landed on this list at the November meeting.
- Adonius Melvins, Jr, left his two children, ages 7 and 8, alone in the car for 19 minutes while he was placing wagers at the Rivers Casino Philadelphia sportsbook. Charges are currently pending and he was permanently evicted from the property.
- Jervey Shackelford left his 6-year-old in a car on a public street near Rivers Casino Pittsburgh while he placed a bet at the sportsbook.

The Diamond Casino & Resort
The main part of the update is of course the casino itself, and Rockstar as usual has done an excellent job when it comes to modelling the exterior and interior of the swanky new building. You can drive up to the entrance and have the valet park your car for you in the new shared space that is the casinos parking garage, an area where multiple players can congregate away from the hustle and bustle of the city . There is even a beautiful rooftop terrace, however this isnt locked off in any way and in most public GTA Online session will likely just become a war zone.
Although the exterior of the casino has changed, and because of that has caused some issues for races and other jobs that were created around it, its nothing in comparison to the interior. In classic casino fashion, its almost like a maze where you can get lost in the bright lights, tables, slot machines, VIP rooms, bars and other people enjoying what the resort has to offer. This is also a shared spaceunlike the arena from the previous update, everyone who enters the casino in the same session will be in the same area, able to interact with and watch each other peacefully .
Long Promotion Periods To Accumulate Entries
While at a local casino during the second year of my return to gambling, Id noticed a few posters on the big finale of a casino promotion Id only been vaguely aware of.
It was a multi-month promotion with several end-of-month giveaways such as cruises and other trips, including a car giveaway as a finale at the end of the promotion.
But, being new to promotions and the need to pursue anything and everything of interest as another way to earn income for gambling profit, I had barely noticed a mail flyer, players club emails, and other mentions of it during prior visits to the casino.
My first assessment of this three-month-long promotion was somewhat less than favorable. I became slightly interested in this promotion when I learned the grand finale was the drawing for the luxury car Id noticed was on display in the main entryway of the casino. Yes, I began to realize, that was very interesting indeed.

This weeks Podium Car you can spin to win for is the Mammoth Squaddie LUV. The normal purchase price for this car from Warstock Cash & Carrt is $1,130,000. This digital vehicle takes its styling from the real-world cars like the various military Hummers that have released throughout the years. Gaining Access To The Gta Online Casino
Like most DLCs since Further Adventures in Finance and Felony, to actually access the new content you’ll need to make an initial investment of sorts. Previously, this involved buying specific properties like offices or bunkers, but you can’t buy the Diamond this time around, no matter how many Shark Cards you’ve splurged on. Instead, players must buy memberships which give them access to the gambling opportunities at the Casino.
Standard Diamond memberships don’t cost too much, but they also come with limited perks – you can only access the casino portion of the Diamond and even then, not all gambling activities. You will gain access to the Diamond’s garage though, allowing you to store one car.
Instead, to access the Resort, the high-limit tables and more, you’ll need a VIP membership, which is significantly more expensive.
This membership nets you a fancy penthouse which you can customize to your heart’s desire, including with a personal spa, partying area, roof garden access, exquisite artworks and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to try your luck as a real high-roller at the high-limit tables in the Casino, and insert coins again and again at the retro arcade.
The main attraction of getting a VIP membership, however, is gaining access to Missions.
