A battery’s reserve capacity rating refers to its “standing power.” This is the amount of time the battery can continuously supply the minimum voltage necessary to run your car should the alternator or fan belt fail. If you live in a cold climate, you may want to consider a battery jump starter that has a higher CCA rating. A lead-acid battery can lose about 50% of its cranking power in extremely cold conditions. Therefore, it is more difficult and takes more power to get a car started in colder weather.

What Is A Car Battery Size
The automobile battery size refers to the physical dimensions of the battery. While this seems straightforward, its important to remember that the size doesnt necessarily mean anything more than the height, length, and width.
